Lies from the website of the fake LASIK patient advocate, Glenn Hagele,
of CRSQA/USAEyes:
http://www.usaeyes.org/faq/subjects/dry_eyes.htm
Quote:
For the vast majority of refractive surgery recipients, the degree of dry eye symptoms is not significant enough to cause difficulties. Even
those who do have some trouble most often find the dry eye symptoms
resolve within the normal six-month healing period.
Compare that false statement with a peer-reviewed medical study on the
duration of LASIK induced dry eyes and a statement by one of the
country's most well-known LASIK surgeons on the severity of LASIK
induced dry eyes:
Am J Ophthalmol. 2006 Mar;141(3):438-45.
The incidence and risk factors for developing dry eye after myopic
LASIK.
"The incidence of dry eye gradually decreased over the observation
period in both groups to a
36.36% overall incidence and a 41.18%
incidence in the superior-hinge group at 6 months."

"With LASIK, roughly half of my patients had dry eye complaints after
surgery-and in about half of these,
the symptoms were severe."
Marguerite McDonald, MD
The CRSQA/USAEyes website contains false and misleading information
intended to fool patients into believing that LASIK is safe. Glenn
Hagele of CRSQA/USAEyes refers patients to LASIK surgeons who pay him a fee. Glenn Hagele lies about the risks and dangers of LASIK surgery.
Glenn Hagele patrols the internet in search of negative information
about LASIK. He targets patients who are vocal critics of LASIK. He
attempts to discredit them and attacks them in their personal lives,
not just on the internet.
Richard Lindstrom, LASIK surgeon, commenting on Glenn Hagele's attacks on patients:
"When founded by Dan Durrie the charter of this group (CRSQA) seemed
reasonable. Now it has deteriorated into a Bagdad (sic), Iraq type
scene where there will be no winners, just all losers. I suggest we
stay away. It has become a lose/lose and is now very personalized.
Glenn seems to see himself as a white night crusading for Laski
(sic)..."
Glenn Hagele stated he intended to cause the "demise" of several vocal injured LASIK patients. Glenn Hagele commenting on his own madness:
"There is a lot of method to my madness, but it all comes down to
Divide and Conquer."
